Why do we have rashes on skin

Why do we have rashes on skin? Rashes are these small, red marks on the skin that can be caused by many factors, in addition to pollen.

Rashes, also known as urticaria, can occur anywhere on the body, including the face, hands, feet or even the ears. Their size can be different each time and they usually occur when you have an allergic reaction, triggering the release of histamine and other chemicals into the bloodstream. This, in turn, causes itching, swelling or other symptoms. Some of the most common causes are:

1. Your diet and rashes on skin

If you have noticed rashes after eating shellfish, nuts, milk eggs or even berries, then you may have a food allergy. In some people, rashes may appear directly after eating a particular food, while in others, symptoms may develop after a few hours.

2. The external environment

Insect bites and exposure to pollen can cause rashes. What you may not know is that direct exposure to sunlight, cold temperatures or even strong winds can cause the appearance of rashes, not allergic reaction but probably skin sensitivity.

3. Emotionally charged situations

Emotionally charged situations can cause rashes. In people who have been experiencing rash for years, stress or anger can heat the body abruptly, causing histamine release.

What can you do for rashes on skin

  • Try applying it to the point where you have rashes of a cold compress or a damp cloth, as it will likely reduce itching and swelling.
  • Take a shower, as cool water can relieve the feeling of itching.
  • Avoid tight clothing for a while, as it may irritate your skin more.
  • Avoid hard soaps, as they may further irritate the area that has rashes.
  • Take some time to do something that will relax and stimulate your psychology, as your rashes may be associated with high levels of stress.
