This is especially the case when we suffer from gastrointestinal reflex, where gastric acid rises upwards, irritating the esophagus.
Eating late at night
In general for the health of our stomachs and to avoid all the annoying symptoms it is advisable to eat small and frequent meals instead of large and heavy meals. Especially for dinner, it is advisable to have at least two hours before we lie down and – when suffering from gastroesophageal reflux – to lift the upper side of our mattress to have the esophagus higher.

Experts agree that when at some point we suffer from slight discomfort in the stomach because we are overwhelmed by alcohol, food, cigarettes, stress, fatigue, etc., we do not need to be alarmed but can only take some medication to cope The symptoms.
